The CMC Paper-PRO has been developed specifically with retailers of apparel and fashion in mind. The machine delivers sustainable yet strong packaging, suitable for deliveries as well as returns. The ability to add a resealable strip to the packaging gives consumers confidence in returning items sustainably. The retailer receives its goods back in a strong package, allowing the items to be re-inducted into inventory quickly.
CMC Paper-PRO securely wraps a variety of products in dynamically cut, ready-to-ship paper bags. Orders are fed continuously into a dedicated induct conveyor with the barcode readable from five sides. Seamless integration to our clients’ WMS provides instant order association, full data management and 100% process integrity.
Orders are scanned and each bag is custom sized to the length and height of each order – reducing wrapping materials and shipping volumes. Once wrapped, bags are sealed with low impact, hot melt glue to guarantee the best, most sustainable results.
Bags feature easy opening and closing for returns – simplifying the returns process and reducing waste if they need to send back their purchase.
In addition, the system integrates a dispatch note or invoice printing and inserting system, various sorting options, and a handle as a BOPIS solution.
CMC Paper-PRO can use both Paper-PRO Kraft cardboard paper and the newest Paper-PRO bubble paper. This offers the same robustness and protection as standard polybags or padded mailers. The CMC Paper-PRO packaging is recyclable.
