Company achieves double-digit emissions reduction, SBTi-approved targets, and client-enabled impact at scale
Città di Castello, Italy – 21/08/2025 – CMC Packaging Automation has published its FY2024 Sustainability Report. CMC is a global leader in right-sized, automated packaging solutions. The report marks a significant step toward responsible growth and long-term value creation.
The report also highlights CMC’s integrated approach to sustainability. It connects competitiveness, innovation and market leadership with climate action and social responsibility.
Key 2024 Achievements

- Total GHG emissions fell by 11%. Specifically, this included a 72% year-on-year reduction in Scope 2 emissions. These reductions align with the company’s newly approved Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) targets.

- CMC fully activated its Tech Center in Atlanta, a global hub for training, R&D and co-engineering. As a result, CMC strengthened its role as a partner for clients seeking innovation and sustainability.

- Clients also enabled environmental impact by adopting CMC’s solutions. This included avoiding 36 million cubic meters of plastic filler and 936 K tons of CO₂eq emissions. In addition, clients conserved 451 K tons of cardboard.
Looking Ahead
For FY2025, CMC aims to scale innovation, embed ESG into governance and strengthen coordination across functions. Together, these priorities support solutions that meet market needs, remain resilient and respect the environment.
