MULTI FAN FOLD INPUT
From an idea to optimize packaging and reduce waste, to a disruptive “box last” engineering concept, CMC pioneered what the industry now considers the first perfect sized packaging machine brought to market. The unit is designed for clients who need to produce a wide range of box sizes while minimizing waste. It can accommodate up to four different widths of corrugated material, which are automatically fed based on product scanning by the Cubiscan. This ensures that the right corrugated width is used to create the correct box size with minimal waste, without affecting productivity.
CUT SHEET FEEDER
Introducing an innovative feature for CMC right-sized packaging machines: a new input channel that revolutionizes the packaging process. Gluing single sheets together creates a seamless flow of corrugated material, cut and creased to form custom boxes. Benefits include reduced cardboard and transport costs, access to alternative local suppliers, decreased downtime, and lower CO2 emissions related to transportation. Upgrade your packaging operations with this gamechanging feature for cost savings and a reduced environmental footprint.

PRE -INDUCT
A longer extended conveyor directly connected to the CMC CartonWrap induct section. It facilitates the feeding of single or multi-line orders directly from the picking area. It operates in two modes: CONVEYOR MODE: This mode functions as a simple transport conveyor, bringing products to be loaded onto the machine directly to the operator. ADVANCED MODE: In this mode, the system automatically reads the product ID from up to six sides.
CMC CAMLOGGER
The CamLogger system captures end stores images of items/orders inducted and fulfilled on CMC auto packers end bagging machines. lt is a further proof of order integrity that can be digitally shared with buyers prior to shipment. Images can be captured both at the operator position and during final packaging. This system integrates with CMC machine software to ‘synchronizer’ the image name with any item information such as Barcode, ReferenceID, TimeStamp etc.
CATALOGUE FEEDERS
CMC has designed and manufactured rotary feeders that automatically and selectively feed brochures, catalogues, and flyers without compromising productivity. The selectivity of the feeders is driven by barcodes, utilizing the customer’s Warehouse Management System (WMS). These feeders also possess miss and double detection capabilities.
INVOICE PRINTER
The in-line selective invoice and dispatch note printer is available in both mono and full-color options. It is capable of delivering A4 or A5 invoices, and can also print and collect multipage documents together. The system allows for loading two or more print layouts to process different customers within the same workflow. To ensure data integrity with the customer’s Warehouse Management System (WMS), a dedicated barcode reader is incorporated.
EASY OPENING
The newest CMC “Easy Open & Easy Reclose Solution” enables the shipping box to become a returnable box in a single application. This innovative solution incorporates a device consisting of a double perforator and a tape applicator. By adding an “Easy Open” perforation and a “Reclosing Tape,” the package can be created to easily open and reseal the box for returns. The reclosing tape is applied directly on the cardboard on-thefly, ensuring optimal efficiency. “Easy Open” perforation strips only also available.
BOX PAPER STRAPPER
A new system has been developed to horizontally apply a paper or plastic strap around the four edges of a box. This band tightens the four vertical edges, enhancing the rigidity of the box. After the box is labeled and exits the CMC CartonWrap machine, a dedicated module turns it 90 degrees and pushes it towards the strapping unit. The strap an be applied to any box with a height greater than 100mm. If the box height exceeds 200mm, two straps can be applied at different heights.
CHECK WEIGHER
A dynamic weight checking system is to be installed after the closing section. This system effectively and accurately checks the weight of each parcel and reports it to the customer’s Warehouse Management System (WMS) for order validation. The CMC Check Weigher also provides information for DIM weight calculations, enabling the sorting of each parcel with the most advantageous carrier. The tolerance for weight accuracy is within +-10 grams.
PRINT & APPLY LABELLER
CMC Print and Applier Labeler The ultimate print and apply labeling system. It enables the real-time printing and application of self-adhesive shipping labels based on data from the PC Controller. The labels are compliant with all carriers and are placed on top of the box or bagger using a self-adjustable pneumatic piston. To ensure proper matching and validate the final parcel, a dedicated barcode reader is employed.
CMC SORTER
CMC Sorter is a conveyor belt equipped with three “smart” diverters that selectively guide boxes either “left” or “right” (functioning as a 6-way sorter) based on data received from the PC Controller. Additionally, the straight exit can function as an additional diverting unit. Extra diverters can be added upon request. The CMC Sorter offers various sorting options to optimize shipping costs and discounts: Sorting by carrier to maximize shipping costs based on different criteria. Sorting by ZIP code to maximize postal discounts. Sorting by retailer or brand in 3PLs.
